The Cinemanext Academy’s Basic Course in Audiovisual Technology for Cinemas
is essential training for cinema staff, planners and technicians seeking to master current audiovisual technologies and optimise the operation of cinema facilities.
audiovisual technologies and optimise the operation of cinema facilities.
This programme is designed for the following profiles:
  • Managers of large cinemas seeking to protect their reputation and avoid last-minute cancellations that could negatively affect their image.
  • Owners of small cinemas, where a cancellation of a screening with 200 tickets sold can mean a huge loss in the weekend’s takings.
  • Booth technicians who want to refresh their knowledge and ensure that, in the event of a technical failure, they can resolve the problem themselves with a simple call to the NOC.
  • Cinemas with high staff turnover, which need reliable, practical and accessible training content, avoiding the complexity of a traditional instruction manual.
  • Room staff (ushers, ticket agents, bar staff, etc.) who want to acquire the skills necessary to handle themselves in the booth in the event of an emergency, absence, or sick leave of a technician.
  • Cabin crew who, fearing harm, seek solid guidance to confidently operate and work efficiently with the NOC in the event of an incident.
  • AV enthusiasts interested in learning more about the elements and operation of a cinema booth.

Why is this course for you?

If you identify with any of these profiles, this course is an excellent opportunity for you:
  • Avoid incidents and drastically reduce resolution time if technical problems arise.
  • Speak the same language as the NOC technician, following their instructions remotely without having to wait for them to travel.
  • Gain confidence and ease when handling and manipulating cabin devices, your work tools.
  • Reduce or even eliminate suspended sessions due to technical issues that could be easily resolved with proper instructions.
  • Build audience loyalty by avoiding the disloyalty generated by cancellations, since viewers rarely return, even if they receive a refund.

Do you want to participate?

This course is your opportunity to improve your venue’s technical management, avoid problems, and ensure a flawless experience for your audience. Don’t miss it!
